This is a yummy, low fat smoothie – full of anti-oxidant rich fruits!!!
Breakfast, snacktime or anytime…this is a guilt-free delight!
15 oz. bag frozen berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
1 very ripe banana
1/3 cup goji berries
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup 1% milk
extra coconut for garnishing (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
Serve as is, or garnished with more grated coconut.
It’s a little grainy because of the berries and wheat germ, but I like having something to bite into – makes it a bit more substantial, as a complete meal for breakfast, if desired.
