When planning a party, it is good to have a variety of foods for people to snack on, but who wants to spend days preparing for a party so that you are so tired you can’t enjoy the party itself.
For this reason, it’s good to have some semi-homemade desserts that uses some ready made products, so that treats can be put together quickly and easily.
For this recipe I used puff pastry shells. You can also use mini pie shells or any kind of shell that is good for individual desserts. Bake the shells and then just fill with lemon curd and fresh fruit. Can you think of any dessert easier than this?
Use any variety of fruit you prefer and then just dust with powdered sugar!
I used Pepperidge Farm puff pastry shells. All you do is take them out of the package and bake for 20 minutes and then fill as desired.
If lemon curd isn’t your thing, fill with nutella or cookie butter or vanilla pudding or sweetened marscapone or even just whipped cream – the possibilities are endless!
